At AMC Childcare Center, INC. we care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. We focus on the overall development of each child and aim to provide a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment.  Our curriculum is tailored to meet the  academic, social emotional, and developmental needs of the children put in our care. 

AMC Child Center, INC. is a participant in The Quality Star Program of New York, a state preschool program that sets the standards for daycare and learning centers throughout New York.

Partnering with the community and families provides us with essential information to assist us in providing the best strategies for the development of each child. Our teachers are certified and receive comprehensive Professional Development Training throughout the year, to ensure we are up to par with the latest methods of teaching.

We emphasize the philosophy of learning through play. This allows the developing child to learn without the pressure or stress of the conventional classroom standards and has proven to foster more engaged students.

Math (numbers, organizing, sequential order, phonics (letters, sounds, blending) is all introduced to our children through play, as they develop the joy of learning as they play.  Art, science, and cooking are also incorporated into our program with a fun and exciting presentation to our children.  

Imaginary Play plays a strong role by encouraging children to use their gross motor skills and as well as their  our teachers join our children in their activities to provide direction for a safe experience.
